Research Interests
Clinical trials of foods, nutrients, and dietary patterns on vascular health and cardiovascular responses to stress. Current studies examine effects of chocolate, omega3 fatty acids, magnesium and nuts on inflammation, mood, perceived stress, and endothelial function. phytoestrogens; functional foods; reproductive physiology; lipid metabolism, and vascular biology.
Teaching Interests
Cardiovascular disease, Health Psychology, stress physiology, psychophysiological methods, clinical trial design.
