Assistant or Associate Professor of Biobehavioral Health (Immigrant Family)
The Department of Biobehavioral Health, College of Health and Human Development, at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The successful candidate will have an ongoing research program that focuses on the health and behavior of immigrant children and youth in their family or community contexts. The applicant`s research should be translational and integrative, and focus on mechanisms and processes for improving the physical and/or mental health of immigrant children and their families. The focus of the research might include cardiovascular health, obesity, stress coping mechanisms, health impacts of acculturation, and health promotion interventions focused on children and youth, families, or communities.
