Background
The PACE requires annual or bi-annual (depending on income) re-enrollment of all PACE members. This is accomplished by mailing renewal applications to PACE enrolled elderly in anticipation of their membership expiration. The renewal application process may be an efficient and inexpensive mechanism to obtain measures of self-reported health and quality of life for PACE enrolled elderly.
Objectives
This study has two objectives: (1) to examine the feasibility of assessing health and quality of life of PACE enrolled elderly as part of the PACE renewal application process; and (2) to initiate a process of obtaining summary reports on the self-reported health status and quality of life of PACE enrolled elderly.
