Background
PACE has supported all types of research that conforms to Federal and State regulations relating to confidentiality and ethical treatment of human subjects. The PACE databases serve as excellent resources for research on health services utilization and on pharmaco-epidemiological issues. This project was completed in partial fulfillment for the doctorate degree in Biobehavioral Health.
Objectives
The purpose of this study was to conduct a case control study on the association of utilization (exposure) to Non-Steriodal Anti-inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDS) to the presence of dementia as a contributing cause of death.
