Biography:

Dr.Jennifer Graham joined the Biobehavioral Health faculty in 2006. She completed her Ph.D. in Social and Health Psychology at Stony Brook University in 2003. More recently, she completed an NIH-funded postdoctoral fellowship in Psychoneuroimmunology at The Ohio State University. Dr. Graham's research has garnered a number of awards, including an American Psychological Association Division of Health Psychology research award for her dissertation, the Psychoneuroimmunology Research Society Scholars Award, and the American Psychosomatic Society Scholar Research Award. Dr. Graham's original research is published in biomedical and psychological journals. In addition she has contributed several important reviews of work in her field, including a chapter in the pivotal textbook Psychoneuroimmunology. Dr. Graham has been invited to present her work at national and international conferences, as well as at other universities, and recently chaired a symposium focused on inflammation and pain. She also serves as a reviewer for a number of journals related to biobehavioral medicine. Importantly, Dr. Graham is a dedicated instructor as well, and will be teaching courses in Gender and Health, and Integrative Integration in Biobehavioral Health. Her teaching has been recognized with awards, including a departmental award for teaching excellence.
